Dosha benefits: Kapha
Ingredients:
- Rice flour 1 ½ cup
- Water 1 ½ cup
- Green chillies 1 (finely chopped)
- Onion 1/2 (finely chopped)
- Chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves
- Grated Coconut
- Salt to taste
- Oil 2 tsp
Recipe:
- Add salt to the water and bring it to a boil. Reduce the flame to low and add the rice flour.
- Mix everything well. Switch off and leave it for 10 minutes.
- Add chopped onions, coriander, chilies, grated coconut, cumin, ginger to the flour.
- When the dough is still warm, knead it nicely like chapati dough.
- Make small lemon sized balls. Roll it out using a bread rolling pin or with hand.
- Heat a griddle (tawa) on high heat and then reduce the flame to medium.
- Transfer the rolled-out flour gently to the hot tawa.
- Immediately sprinkle some water on the top surface to prevent it from getting dried up.
- When one side starts cooking, flip and cook the other side.
- Repeat the flipping once more and then serve hot with spice powder.
