Dosha benefits: Pitta
Ingredients:
- Banana stem 5” long
- Sweet corn 125 gms
- Water 1 cup + 250 ml
- Lime juice to taste
- Black salt to taste
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Recipe:
- Cut the banana stem into round pieces. While cutting, remove the thread which comes out of it.
- After cutting, add corn, one cup water and pressure cook the same for 4-5 whistles.
- Cool it and grind it to a smooth paste in the mixer.
- Add 250 ml water and strain through a strainer.
- Transfer the same into a kadai (pot or pan) and boil it with black pepper powder and black salt.
- Just before removing from the stove, add lime juice and stir.
- Transfer into bowls, garnish and serve.
