Dosha benefits: Vata
Ingredients:
- Sesame seeds 2 tsp
- Water 2 cups
- Milk ½ cup (substitute with coconut or almond milk for vegans)
- Palm sugar 2 tsp
Recipe:
- Add 2 cups of water to 2 spoons of sesame seeds.
- Boil it in low flame and reduce the volume of water to ½ cup
- Filter the decoction of sesame seeds.
- Add hot milk to it.
- Add palm sugar and mix well.
- Serve hot.
Ayurveda Tip:
- Sesame drinks are good to drink during the change of seasons, when ojas or immunity can become depleted.
