Before attending clinicals, I reached out to the school to confirm whether it was worth investing my time and money given my low grade due to personal challenges. I was instructed to calculate a grade estimate, which showed I would pass with at least 70%. Based on this, I moved forward with my plans. During this time, my TA encouraged me by saying, “I would encourage you to continue to submit assignments. I think there is a chance you will be able to bring your grade up to passing. The webinar attendance will be updated this week and that will show an improvement in your grade. Do your best, while remembering the Ayurvedic principles of no strain or stress.” With this reassurance, I took PTO from work, spent over $200 on airfare, and an additional $300 on transportation to attend clinicals, only to receive an email during clinicals suggesting I withdraw due to a low chance of passing. This was extremely disheartening and frustrating, as it could have been communicated earlier. Throughout the program, I felt there was little to no support when it came to addressing missing assignments or helping students balance other commitments. As someone juggling a full-time job, running a business, and being a single parent, I found the lack of understanding and flexibility at odds with the values the program claims to teach. I would not recommend this program to individuals who have significant personal or professional responsibilities, as the support system does not align with the demands of students managing complex lives.

Excellent university. All the courses you take are professional and very useful in your career. They prepare you in all aspects of life. Staff are very friendly and caring and tuition is fair, once you start working you pay it off pretty quick. I had so many friends for life that I got from there. I also refereed many friends, family members and others who are already successful from the program.

My experience so far at MIU is pretty amazing. I'm going for my B/A in Ayurveda health and wellness. I have multiple chronic illnesses and have suffered from migraines, depression, and anxiety from a young age. I'm guessing mostly from the environment we are raised in. I knew there had to be a better way, and there is. Our country isn't set up to inspire individual growth or enlightenment or to PROMOTE TRUE HEALING .. Through my own research, I found Ayurveda, and that put me on a holistic healing journey for mind body spirit? I would strongly advise a consciousness based education and meditation ?♀️ for everyone wanting a life change. TM and the process of bringing full awareness to ourselves is so important during this time. My question is... If everyone knew they could help change the world, make it a more peaceful place for us all just by meditation. Would they do so?
