Maharishi International University is a fantastic choice for students looking to earn their Masters in Computer Science. The university provides a unique and holistic education experience that is well-suited for international students. The faculty is knowledgeable and dedicated, offering a high-quality curriculum in computer science that emphasizes sustainable technology and conscious leadership. The campus is beautiful, peaceful, and conducive to learning, making it an ideal environment for international students to thrive. Furthermore, the university has a supportive community of students, staff, and faculty who are committed to helping students succeed both academically and personally. Overall, I highly recommend Maharishi International University to anyone seeking a world-class education in computer science, especially to international students looking for a supportive and transformative learning experience.

The school is really neat and unique with very kind, well-intentioned people running it. The "meditation as a way of life" and "consciousness-based education" is really amazing. I spent over three years at this college. I served as Student Body President, founded several clubs, and was a very active member in the school activities department. The quality of education, however, lacks greatly. In my heart of hearts, sad as it makes me to say against this really unique place, that I could have (aside from very few features) gotten a college education of this level from watching YouTube videos. I found there to be no competitive, real-world applicable models to gear me for real-world success. The labs were deplorable and barely existent. There were no helpful school organizations, career-oriented, or intensive educational programs. The courses and professors provided a fun college experience, but, certainly not an overall valuable one. Many departments have old, run-down equipment and facilities and are running on steam. Very sad. I stayed because of the people. Now, having been out for four years, I find it was a bad decision altogether and would not recommend it for those wanting to go to college for career or educational purposes as a focus.

Before attending clinicals, I reached out to the school to confirm whether it was worth investing my time and money given my low grade due to personal challenges. I was instructed to calculate a grade estimate, which showed I would pass with at least 70%. Based on this, I moved forward with my plans. During this time, my TA encouraged me by saying, “I would encourage you to continue to submit assignments. I think there is a chance you will be able to bring your grade up to passing. The webinar attendance will be updated this week and that will show an improvement in your grade. Do your best, while remembering the Ayurvedic principles of no strain or stress.” With this reassurance, I took PTO from work, spent over $200 on airfare, and an additional $300 on transportation to attend clinicals, only to receive an email during clinicals suggesting I withdraw due to a low chance of passing. This was extremely disheartening and frustrating, as it could have been communicated earlier. Throughout the program, I felt there was little to no support when it came to addressing missing assignments or helping students balance other commitments. As someone juggling a full-time job, running a business, and being a single parent, I found the lack of understanding and flexibility at odds with the values the program claims to teach. I would not recommend this program to individuals who have significant personal or professional responsibilities, as the support system does not align with the demands of students managing complex lives.
