Initially motivated by questions about life and her own health challenges, Tanu began her journey in Ayurveda, Yoga, and Natural Medicine more than 22 years ago in her home city of Perth, Australia.
Trained with certifications in Ayurveda, Bowen Therapy, Applied Kinesiology, Yoga and Aromatherapy (to name a few) Tanu brings a sensitive approach and a broad vision to her Ayurvedic consultations, treatments, workshops and formulations.
Tanu is certified as an Ayurveda Practitioner by Dr Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute, New Mexico and is currently pursuing graduate studies with Kerala Ayurveda Academy in California and India whilst living in Vancouver, BC.
Additionally, she is also an experienced breath-work and meditation teacher with the Art of Living Foundation and has taught and studied yoga for around 22 years.
Tanu also applies Jyotish and Vastu Shastra from an Ayurvedic lens in her clinical practice. Tanu also has a background in Asian Anthropology, International Aid/ Sustainability, and Education all of which inform her sensitivity to people from all walks of life and the environment.
When she is not in the clinic or teaching, she is growing Ayurvedic, TCM and Western herbs, creating art, reading about astrology, travelling…or creating the next delicious recipe based on Ayurvedic principles and modern nutrition.
