Coimbatore, India
In January 2015, I traveled to Kerala in southern India to experience Ayurveda in it’s origins. I underwent my own intensive Panchakarma cleansing & healing treatment at ‘Vaidyagrama Ayurvedic Healing Village’ in Coimbatore, as well as traveled to Munnar, Alleppey and Kochi to fully immerse in the teachings of culture, Yoga & Spirituality.
(You may read about my experience on the ‘Herb ‘n Living’ Blog page & see images of Vaidyagrama in Galleries)

The CAC is an independent group of trained, highly experienced, academically-qualified and professional Ayurvedic clinicians and teachers who are deeply committed to the field of Ayurvedic education in the USA. As highly experienced professionals, we are working to fill the gaps in Ayurvedic Education, to develop the rich repository required for proper education and proficiency in students, educators, institutions, clinics, and communications, through high quality documents that standardize Ayurvedic education. Because we do not have financial obligation to a membership body, we can develop standards without any conflict of Interest. Since November 2011, the CAC has met weekly to create Scopes of Practice for several levels of Ayurvedic professional practice; Lesson Plans for the standardization of a curriculum of Ayurveda in the USA; and open-source documents to improve the understanding of Ayurveda Education in the USA. The CAC aims to achieve state-regulated licensing of the Ayurvedic practice.
